The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claim to have killed another Hezbollah commander responsible for recent attacks in Northern Israel. The IDF announced that the Israel Air Force struck and killed terrorist Farouk Amin Alasi, the Hezbollah commander of the Khiam area. Alasi was responsible for numerous anti-tank missile and rocket attacks on Israeli communities in the Galilee Panhandle, particularly Metula. Additionally, the IDF eliminated Yousef Ahmad Nun, a Radwan Forces company commander in the Khiam area responsible for rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on Israeli communities in the Galilee and IDF troops operating in the area. This follows the killing of two Hezbollah commanders responsible for over 400 strikes against Israel in October. IDF troops are actively engaged in operational activities in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah terrorists and locating large amounts of weaponry.

In the past week, under the direction of IDF Intelligence, the IAF targeted and killed Raafat Ibrahim Mahmoud Akdeih, a Nukhba terrorist responsible for the terrorist attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz in October. Akdeih was an aide to the commander of Islamic Jihad Nukhba forces in the Khan Yunis Brigade during the conflict. The IDF has also continued their operations in the northern Gaza Strip, targeting and eliminating dozens of terrorists. The “Kfir” Brigade has conducted operations in the area, taking out a terrorist cell posing a threat to IDF troops. Furthermore, IDF soldiers are continuing their operational activity in the central and southern Gaza Strip, dismantling terrorist cells and locating weapons.

IDF troops have been conducting limited, targeted raids against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, focusing on dismantling the terrorist organization’s infrastructure, locating weapons, and eliminating terrorists in collaboration with the IAF. In the Gaza Strip, operations in the Jabaliya area have resulted in the elimination of many terrorists through aerial and ground activities. In Rafah and central Gaza, IDF troops are working to eliminate terrorists, dismantle terror infrastructure, and find weapons. These efforts come after a deadly attack by Hezbollah forces in northern Israel, which resulted in the deaths of several individuals. Subsequent Israeli attacks have targeted and eliminated Hezbollah terrorists responsible for the violence.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has led to significant casualties on both sides, with the IDF striking key Hezbollah commanders and terrorists. The IDF continues to actively target and eliminate terrorists in Lebanon and Gaza, focusing on dismantling their infrastructure, locating weapons, and ensuring the safety of Israeli communities. The recent attacks by Hezbollah on northern Israel have prompted a swift and decisive response from the IDF, leading to the elimination of key figures responsible for the violence. The IDF’s relentless pursuit of terrorists and their weapons signals a commitment to defending Israel and its citizens from external threats.
