Israel claimed it had killed two Hezbollah commanders responsible for over 400 strikes against them in October. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had eliminated Mousa Izz al-Din and Hassan Majid Daib in the Tyre region of Lebanon. Daib was responsible for firing projectiles toward Haifa Bay. The IDF also stated that the Israel Air Force (IAF) struck more than 120 targets in Lebanon, including anti-tank missile launching sites, terrorist operatives, terror infrastructure sites, weapons storage facilities, and command centers. IDF soldiers continued targeted raids against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and operational activity in the Gaza Strip to eliminate terrorists and dismantle terror infrastructure.

Israeli forces faced a deadly attack from Hezbollah in northern Israel on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of an Israeli farmer and four foreign agricultural workers in Metula. Another attack near Haifa left two people dead. The IDF responded by carrying out a strike that eliminated Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi of Hezbollah’s Radwan Forces near the city of Nabatieh, south of Beirut. Shahadi had been involved in numerous terror attacks against Israel, and his targeting was part of an effort to degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities to direct and execute terror activities against IDF troops and communities in the northern border. The IDF also continued its targeted raids against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon and operational activity in the Gaza Strip to eliminate terrorists and dismantle terror infrastructure.
