Bellevue, Wash.-based company Icertis recently welcomed two new executives to its team: Anand Subbaram as chief operating officer and Jay Lee as chief marketing officer. Subbaram, who is based in India, brings with him experience as the former president at BrowserStack and 17 years at Oracle in various executive roles. Lee most recently served as chief marketing officer at tax software company Avalara, and also has experience at companies such as PayPal, Swift Financial, Aimia, American Express, and GE.

Founded in 2009, Icertis announced that it had surpassed $250 million in annual recurring revenue this year. The company was valued at $5 billion in 2021 and has raised over $300 million from investors including SAP and SoftBank. The addition of Subbaraman and Lee to the executive team reflects the company’s continued growth and success in the contract management software market.

In addition to the changes at Icertis, there have been several other notable personnel changes in the Pacific Northwest tech industry. Terry Boyle, former CEO of Zulily, is now leading resale company Trove as its new CEO following a turbulent period for Zulily, which filed for bankruptcy and had its assets acquired by Beyond. Simran Suri has joined venture capital firm Maveron as a senior associate, bringing her previous experience from Equal Ventures in New York City.

Summer Burt, who previously worked at Blue Nile, has joined Seattle-area company Redwood Outdoors as chief marketing officer, while Tony Perrotta, a former executive at healthcare companies Rhapsody and Orion Health, has become the chief financial officer at Kirkland-based MacroHealth. Nick Quinlan, former chief operating officer at Major League Hacking, has been appointed as the executive director at Washington Business Week, a nonprofit focused on helping high school students develop professional and financial skills.

These recent personnel changes highlight the dynamic nature of the tech industry in the Pacific Northwest, with executives moving between companies and bringing their diverse experiences to new roles. As companies continue to innovate and grow in the region, the addition of experienced leaders like Subbaraman and Lee at Icertis and others across different sectors demonstrates the ongoing evolution and expansion of the tech ecosystem in the area, paving the way for future success and growth.
