Google recently took action against radical leftist employees who occupied their offices in New York and Sunnyvale in an anti-Israel, pro-terrorist sit-in. The tech giant called the police and had them arrested, which is a step in the right direction. However, this does not mean that Google is abandoning its woke policies, as the culture of political subversion within the company still persists. While a few employees were removed, many others who hold similar viewpoints remain employed at Google.

CEO Sundar Pichai must do more than issue statements about adhering to policies. He needs to work towards changing Google’s culture to ensure that the political subversion within the company is addressed. The company has faced criticism in the past for bias and discrimination, which is not always blatant. Discrete forms of discrimination against non-woke or conservative voices are prevalent within Google, particularly in its algorithmic bias, which favors woke content over conservative perspectives in search results.

Google’s bias also extends to its platforms such as YouTube, where videos that do not align with woke ideologies are removed, and publishers skeptical about various topics are frequently deplatformed. Even right-leaning videos may face challenges in reaching their audience due to shadowbanning and censorship through search functions. Google Docs also exhibited biased behavior by suggesting alternative, more inclusive terms for words like “policeman” and “mankind,” which are seen as unnecessary and unhelpful changes.

While the removal of some subversive woke employees from Google is a positive step, it does not signify a complete shift in the company’s culture. Google still has a long way to go in addressing its biases and discrimination towards non-woke or conservative voices. Changing the culture within the company is essential to ensure that all perspectives are treated fairly and equally. Moving forward, it is crucial for Google to continue making efforts to eliminate bias and discrimination across all its platforms and services.
