Under the coordination of the Provincial Security Director Arif Pehlivan, a security operation was carried out by the Security Branch Directorate and its affiliated units. During the operation, 3,978 individuals were subjected to GBT (general security check) inquiries, and 1,218 vehicles were inspected. Due to various deficiencies, a total of 103 vehicles and drivers were fined a total of 359,723 Turkish Liras, and 5 vehicles were impounded.

One notable arrest made during the operation was that of E.K., who had been convicted to 27 years in prison for “qualified sexual abuse of a child.” Additionally, E.D. and M.D. were taken into custody after an unlicensed rifle, 10 bullets, and 4 synthetic drug pills were found in their vehicles during a search.

The operation was an important step towards maintaining public safety and cracking down on illegal activities in the region.
