Teen Mom 2 alum Javi Marroquin and his girlfriend, Lauren Comeau, welcomed their second child together, a daughter, on May 28. The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting Polaroid pictures from the birth where they did skin-to-skin with their new baby girl and introduced her to her big brothers, Lincoln and Eli. Marroquin also shared a photo on his Instagram Story of him holding the newborn wrapped in a blanket, expressing his excitement and love for their daughter’s arrival.

The couple had announced in December 2023 that they were expecting their second child together, a girl who was due in the summer. With a joint Instagram post, Marroquin and Comeau shared their joy and excitement about the upcoming arrival of their little girl, hanging an “It’s a Girl” ornament on their Christmas tree. Marroquin, who was previously married to Kailyn Lowry and shares a son with her, split from Lowry in 2017 before moving on with Comeau. Despite a brief breakup in 2020, Marroquin and Comeau reconciled and continued their relationship, leading to the birth of their daughter.

After rumors of an affair between Marroquin and Lowry surfaced following his breakup with Comeau, Marroquin denied the claims, causing a falling-out between him and Lowry. However, Lowry has since focused on amicably coparenting with Marroquin and her other exes, as she shares children with Jo Rivera, Chris Lopez, and currently, Elijah Scott. Lowry shared in an interview that coparenting can be challenging, but she and her exes strive to do their best for the well-being of their children, understanding that it’s a work in progress that requires compromise and respect for each other’s perspectives.

Lowry emphasized the importance of coparenting and compromising in order to navigate the challenges that arise in raising children with multiple co-parents. She and Jo Rivera have been coparenting for over a decade, and while they have their ups and downs, they continue to prioritize their children’s needs and work together for their benefit. Lowry’s relationships with her exes are constantly evolving, with good periods of cooperation followed by challenges that require communication and understanding. Despite the difficulties, Lowry and her exes are committed to creating a positive coparenting dynamic for the sake of their children’s well-being.
