A fire broke out in the area between the Kaban and Yukarı Kışlacak neighborhoods of the district for reasons that have not yet been determined. The Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade and Forestry Directorate teams quickly responded to the rapidly growing fire. The fire, which affected approximately 15 acres, was brought under control as a result of the teams’ efforts. Cooling operations are still ongoing in the area.
