Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by federal agents as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged human trafficking. While law enforcement sources confirmed that the searches were being carried out as part of a federal investigation led by the Southern District of New York, no criminal charges have been filed in connection with the investigation. Combs’ sons were detained outside the Los Angeles home during the search, as is customary in such circumstances, and then released without charges. The investigation is also linked to a lawsuit filed against Combs by a Canadian woman, who claims she was sex-trafficked and gang raped in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

The lawsuit, which was filed by a Canadian woman identified only as Jane Doe, alleges that Combs, former Bad Boy Entertainment president Harve Pierre, and an unnamed third defendant were involved in the sex trafficking and assault of the plaintiff when she was a teenager. The woman claims that she was plied with drugs and alcohol and then gang raped by the defendants at Combs’ studio in New York City. Combs has vehemently denied the allegations, stating on social media that the accusations are baseless and that he will fight for his name, family, and the truth. Pierre’s attorneys have also denied the allegations made against him in the lawsuit.

A separate complaint was filed in November by Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, accusing him of sex trafficking and sexual assault during their relationship. Ventura alleged that she was trafficked, raped, and beaten by Combs, whom she described as a controlling and cruel man nearly two decades her senior. The lawsuit was settled amicably a day after it was filed, with Ventura stating that she decided to resolve the matter on terms that she had some level of control over. Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, reiterated Combs’ denial of the claims, stating that his decision to settle the lawsuit did not undermine his denial of the allegations.

Combs’ attorney has not commented on the recent raid of his Los Angeles and Miami homes by federal agents as part of the ongoing investigation. The search warrants executed at the properties were carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. While the investigation is still ongoing, no further details have been released by law enforcement authorities. Combs’ legal team has not issued a statement in response to the recent developments, and it remains to be seen how the investigation will progress and whether any charges will be filed in connection with the allegations of human trafficking and assault.
