Hallmark star Mamie Laverock’s family provided an update on her condition after she fell from a five-story building last month. They shared that Mamie’s body had “shattered” as a result of the fall and that she had undergone multiple surgeries including two 11-hour procedures, a three-hour surgery, and another surgery recently. The family expressed their gratitude towards the medical staff who have been caring for Mamie since the incident occurred on May 26.

Despite the severity of her injuries, the family mentioned that Mamie is “doing well” compared to when she initially arrived at the hospital. They also noted that she is enduring a great deal of pain but is fighting hard every day. The family expressed their appreciation for the support and prayers they have received and emphasized that Mamie loves her life and her family. They described her recovery as a series of daily miracles and expressed their gratitude for the ongoing support.

Initially, Mamie’s loved ones announced that she had experienced a “medical emergency” on May 11. Her mother, Nicole Compton, shared that she was able to save Mamie’s life by getting her to a local hospital in time. Subsequently, Mamie was transferred to a medical center in Vancouver where her condition improved but remained unclear. Unfortunately, she was later involved in an incident where she fell from a balcony walkway in the hospital, sustaining life-threatening injuries and requiring multiple extensive surgeries.

Following the surgeries, Mamie’s family updated that she was “doing well” which brought them immense happiness. They expressed their gratitude for the support they had received and thanked everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe page that was set up to help cover her medical expenses. The page has since raised over $35,000 towards her recovery. The family continues to be hopeful for Mamie’s progress and remains grateful for the positive developments amid the challenges they have faced.
