Leah Daley, a 24-year-old woman from Folkstone, Kent, has been missing for 10 days, last seen near a local nature reserve called The Warren. The disappearance is described as “totally out of character” by her family, who say she was last seen at 7 pm on May 5. CCTV images released by Kent Police show Leah walking past a cafe on Tontine Street earlier on the same day. Leah is described as 5ft 4in tall with brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes, wearing a dark-colored ‘Parka’ style coat, patterned leggings, ‘Converse’ style trainers, and carrying a black sports backpack. Police have been conducting searches in the east of the town and The Warren area since the Bank Holiday weekend.

Inspector Jay Langshaw from Kent Police has urged anyone who may have spoken to Leah between 3:30 pm and 7 pm on May 5 in the area of Folkestone Harbour and The Warren to come forward with any information. A Facebook group called Leah’s Search has been set up by the local community to help find Leah. Her family released a statement saying that it is unlike Leah to not return home or notify anyone, and that they continue to work with the police without significant updates. The last sighting of Leah was at The Warren, a place she frequented since childhood. Extensive searches of the area and the sea have shown no trace of her, and no additional information, sightings, CCTV footage, or personal items have been found since she went missing on a busy bank holiday Sunday.

The community has been fervently searching for Leah, with no luck so far. The police and her family are appealing to the public for any information that could help locate her. People are urged to refrain from spreading speculation or rumors, as it may hinder the search efforts. Leah’s family remains steadfast in their attempts to find her, and both the police and community are working together to bring her home safely. Despite extensive searches of the area and sea, Leah’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the lack of updates is concerning. Everyone is urged to report any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to help in the search for Leah. The local community has come together to support Leah’s family and help in any way they can to find the missing woman.
