The leaker initially referenced the “vanilla iPhone 16” but later clarified that it was meant to be “16 Pro.” This new color technology for the Pro models is reminiscent of the ground-breaking technique introduced with the iPhone 15, which involved creating color-infused glass in a single piece with a textured matte finish, marking a first for smartphones.
The colors revealed on the iPhone 15 were subtle and understated, with a textured matte finish that looked almost white in certain lighting conditions. Only the pink and black colors stood out with deeper hues.
