The gifted teen scored A*s in the four A-levels she already completed just weeks into the school term. Despite the heavy workload, Mahnoor doesn’t feel stressed or pressured, attributing her success to her natural ability to absorb content and analyze things effortlessly. She believes that burnout is a choice and that she would be bored with just three subjects, as she enjoys exploring a wide range of interests.

Born in the UK and later moving to Lahore, Pakistan, Mahnoor returned to the UK in 2016. She displayed exceptional abilities from a young age, having read all seven Harry Potter books by age six and memorized the Oxford English Dictionary by age 11. Mahnoor’s unconventional sleep routine involves a nap after school, waking up at 7 p.m., and going back to bed at 2 a.m. Her mother, Tayyaba Cheema, supports her daughter’s academic journey by creating a study timetable and ensuring she maintains a balance between academics, social activities, and hobbies. Despite Mahnoor’s impressive achievements, her parents do not pressure her to excel; instead, they encourage her to pursue her passions and do her best in all endeavors. Mahnoor’s rigorous schedule involves studying a wide array of subjects, from psychology and sociology to Latin and computer science, reflecting her diverse interests and unwavering motivation.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Mahnoor dreams of doing a TED talk one day and is determined to make a meaningful impact in the world.
