The holidays are approaching, and with the colder weather, it’s the perfect time to stay inside and play games by the fire. Apple Arcade, a subscription service filled with familiar and exclusive games, is adding over a dozen new games in December and January. For $7 per month, users can access a variety of games without paywalls and ads, providing a smoother gaming experience than traditional App Store games.
Among the games coming to Apple Arcade in December are Talking Tom Blast Park, where players must save Blast Park from mischievous creatures, and Pac-Man 256 Plus, a modern twist on the classic Pac-Man game with new power-ups and features. Other titles include Boggle: Arcade Edition, Hot Wheels: Race Off Plus, and Barbie Color Creations Plus, offering a range of gaming experiences for subscribers.
Arriving on December 9th is Final Fantasy 4 (3D Remake) Plus, a revamped version of the classic game with enhanced graphics and gameplay. This entry in the Final Fantasy series follows the dark knight Cecil as he battles the sorcerer Golbez to save the world. Additionally, Final Fantasy 4: The After Years Plus continues the story years after the original game, introducing new characters and challenges for players to overcome.
On January 9th, Apple Arcade will see the release of Final Fantasy Plus, the game that started the iconic series. Join the Warriors of Light on a quest to restore power to the Crystals and save their home world. Skate City: New York, set in the popular skateboarding franchise, allows players to skate through real-world locations in New York while mastering tricks and challenges.
In addition to these new releases, Apple Arcade offers a variety of games for subscribers to enjoy for $7 per month or $50 annually. Users can try Apple Arcade for free for one month with their first sign-up or receive a three-month free trial when purchasing a new Apple device. To access Apple Arcade, simply open the App Store on your iOS or iPadOS device and tap the joystick icon in the menu bar to start playing a wide range of games available on the platform.
