Police teams from the Edirne Security Directorate stopped 7 individuals in the city center and Keşan district during routine checks due to suspicion about their situation. Various narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found in the suspects’ body searches. The procedures of the suspects at the police station are ongoing.

In Tekirdağ, a drug operation was carried out by the Provincial Security Directorate teams targeting drug dealers in the city. 10 suspects were detained in Süleymanpaşa, Çorlu, and Kapaklı districts. During the search of the suspects’ addresses, various narcotics, an unlicensed pistol, 20 pistol cartridges, and 10,600 Turkish lira believed to be proceeds from drug sales were seized. The suspects are still undergoing police procedures.

In an operation in Lüleburgaz, Kırklareli, 2 individuals were detained after a quantity of narcotics was found in their homes during a search. The procedures of the two suspects at the police station are ongoing.
