Drivers traveling on the Erzurum-Pasinler highway in the Hamamdere area noticed a sacrificed animal on the side of the road. The drivers attempted to stop the animal with their vehicles and after following it for a while on the highway, they managed to catch it. They tied the sacrificed animal to the barriers on the side of the road and asked for support from the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Sacrifice Capture Team to reach the owner.
The drivers quickly located and informed the owner of the sacrificed animal as they had previously reported it as missing to the teams. The owners of the sacrificed animal, who arrived at the scene, thanked driver Enes Karakaş, who had been waiting by the animal and had a role in capturing it.
The sacrificed animal, which had escaped from the Nenehatun District of Palandöken and had traveled approximately 5-6 kilometers away, was loaded onto a vehicle by its owners and taken away.
Driver Karakaş told reporters that they had been tracking the sacrificial animal from the Nenehatun District and finally managed to catch and tie it after bringing it to the right side of the road. He mentioned that they were helped by trucks in stopping the animal and were able to capture, tie it, and wait for the owner.
A friend of the owner of the sacrificed animal shared that they had difficulty controlling the animal when it escaped from the barn. They had been looking for the animal for hours, even reporting it as missing to emergency services. After accepting that the animal was lost, they were on their way back to the village when they received help from others who finally found the animal.
