Reality TV star Christine Quinn called the police after suspecting her estranged husband, Christian Richard, of secretly spying on her by bugging her hotel room. Despite her claims of Richard’s extreme paranoia and controlling behavior in the past, the police found no evidence of criminal activity during their visit to the hotel in West Hollywood. Quinn and Richard share a 2-year-old son, but the child was not present in the hotel room at the time of the police visit.

The marital issues between Quinn and Richard escalated on March 18 when they engaged in a heated argument, which allegedly resulted in Richard throwing dog feces at Quinn and attempting to urinate on the floor. Quinn claimed that the argument was centered around her dissatisfaction with their relationship, including financial issues and Richard’s lack of effort as a partner. On the following day, Richard allegedly threw a bag with a glass bottle at Quinn, which missed her but hit their son, leading to his arrest on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Richard has denied all allegations made against him and accused Quinn of lying to the police. He claimed that the arguments were actually about issues related to dog training and disagreements over their son’s nanny’s work hours. Despite his denial, Richard was arrested twice following the incidents and faces a court hearing to determine the need for a restraining order. The Los Angeles Superior Court has stated that Richard’s arguments do not provide reasonable proof of past acts of abuse.

In the midst of the ongoing legal battle with her estranged husband, Quinn has maintained a positive public persona by attending events in Los Angeles. She has been seen without her engagement ring and with a new sparkler instead. The couple tied the knot in 2019 on Season 3 of “Selling Sunset.” A hearing is set for April 17 to decide on the necessity of a restraining order in the case.
