Two young siblings were tragically killed when an intoxicated driver crashed into a Michigan business where a child’s birthday party was taking place. The 5-year-old boy and his 8-year-old sister were declared dead at the scene, and approximately 13 others were injured, including nine individuals with serious, life-threatening injuries who were rushed to medical facilities for treatment.

The siblings’ names have not been released, and it is unclear if the party was for either of them. The 66-year-old female driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, causing death. It is not known if she required medical attention following the crash.
