According to the statement from the Governorship, a study was initiated by the Narcotics Department of the Provincial Police Department to capture suspects involved in drug trafficking.

Within this scope, teams determined that the suspects were selling drugs through the bagging method and conducted a simultaneous operation.

23 suspects were captured in the operation. During the searches of the suspects’ homes, vehicles, and persons, 2 kilograms of marijuana, 263 grams of synthetic cannabinoids, 750 grams of skunk, 201 drug pills, 10.69 grams of methamphetamine, 0.23 grams of heroin, a precision scale, and 4,820 Turkish Liras believed to be obtained from illegal activities were seized.

The suspects were taken into custody and further investigations will be conducted regarding their involvement in drug trafficking and related illegal activities. The authorities are continuing their efforts to combat drug-related crimes and ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
