Cassie Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, expressed his support for his wife after she spoke out about a recently released surveillance video showing her being assaulted by ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs. Ventura and Fine, who married in 2019, have two daughters together. Fine praised Ventura for being a perfect example for their daughters in dealing with the situation.

In response to the footage of Diddy violently attacking her in a hotel in 2016, Ventura shared a message on Instagram expressing gratitude for the love and support she has received. She emphasized the importance of addressing domestic violence as a serious issue that affected her in ways she never expected. Ventura acknowledged that she is on a healing journey with no end in sight, and encouraged others to believe and support women who come forward about their experiences.

Ventura reminded her followers to believe women who speak out about domestic violence, as it takes courage to tell the truth about such situations. She offered a helping hand to those still living in fear and encouraged them not to cut off their support system. Ventura also shared that she is constantly recovering from her past experiences and working hard to improve herself in the present.

After the release of the footage, Diddy issued an apology video on Instagram, expressing disgust with his behavior and taking responsibility for his actions. He mentioned seeking help in therapy and rehab after the incident with Ventura, but notably did not mention her name in the video. It was later reported that legal constraints prevented him from mentioning her due to a settlement from 2023 following Ventura’s accusations of rape and abuse.

Despite the shocking video evidence of Diddy’s assault on Ventura, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated that he could not be charged due to the statute of limitations. However, additional women have come forward with assault allegations against Diddy, leading to a federal investigation into his homes in Miami and Los Angeles in connection with sex-trafficking allegations. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available for those affected by such issues.
