Michael DiGiorgio, a 50-year-old man from Southern California, has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting nine women, one of whom passed away as a result of the assaults. He was charged with murder, three counts of rape by use of a drug, furnishing a controlled substance, two counts of sodomy by use of a drug, five counts of sexual penetration by use of a drug, and other offenses. DiGiorgio was arrested by Redondo Beach police and is currently being held in jail without bail. His arraignment was originally scheduled for Friday but has been rescheduled for November 6.
The incidents of drugging and sexual assault allegedly took place at DiGiorgio’s homes in Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach between May 2019 and November 2021.
