Sean “Diddy” Combs, the billionaire media mogul, has recently faced a series of accusations of violence and sexual abuse. Despite vehemently denying these allegations, federal agents have raided properties connected to him. The accusations gained credibility when previously unseen footage from 2016 showed Diddy violently assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Cassie filed a lawsuit against him in November, which was settled the following day. This incident opened the floodgates to more accusers filing lawsuits claiming violence or sexual abuse. In March, Homeland Security Investigations conducted raids on properties linked to Diddy.

Throughout his career, Diddy has faced various legal troubles and allegations. In 1996, he was found guilty of threatening a photographer with a gun. In April 1999, a record executive accused him of physical assault during a dispute. In December 1999, a woman claimed Diddy shot her in the face at a nightclub. In March 2001, a TV host alleged Diddy and his entourage attacked him after an interview. In March 2007, a partygoer accused Diddy of punching him and pushing his girlfriend. In June 2015, Diddy avoided charges after allegedly throwing a kettlebell at a coach. In May 2017, his former chef accused him of sexual harassment.

In more recent allegations, Cassie filed a lawsuit in November 2023, accusing Diddy of rape, forced sex acts, abuse, and other disturbing behavior. Grammy-winning singer Tiffany Red corroborated the claims made in the suit. Aside from Cassie’s lawsuit, other accusers have come forward with their own claims against Diddy. In September 2022, a producer accused him or his son of being involved in a shooting that led to a man’s disappearance. In Thanksgiving 2023, a woman accused Diddy and another singer of raping her at the singer’s home. Another woman claimed Diddy and his associates raped and trafficked her when she was 17 in 2003.

In February 2024, a producer named Lil Rod filed a lawsuit against Diddy, alleging sexual harassment, grooming, racketeering, and other illegal activities. The lawsuit contained allegations of serious misconduct and was supported by audio and video recordings. In March 2024, Homeland Security conducted bicoastal raids on homes linked to Diddy in Los Angeles and Miami. The raids may be linked to a sex trafficking investigation, although details have not yet been released. Diddy’s attorney condemned the raids as an excessive show of force and a premature rush to judgment based on meritless accusations. The ongoing legal battles and accusations against Diddy have further tarnished his reputation and raised questions about his alleged behavior over the years.
