President Biden emphasized the importance of respecting the justice system and criticized former President Trump for claiming that the verdict in his New York trial was “rigged.” Biden stated that it was “reckless, dangerous, and irresponsible” for anyone to make such baseless allegations about the justice system. He emphasized that the justice system is a cornerstone of America and should never be torn down. Biden’s remarks came just days after Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records related to the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

During a rally in Philadelphia, Biden boasted that the Supreme Court ruling his student debt relief plan unconstitutional did not stop him from pursuing his agenda. He has criticized the Supreme Court for various rulings during his presidency, including the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Biden has repeatedly stated that the Supreme Court’s decisions have not deterred him from taking action, such as canceling student loans. Despite the court blocking his initial plan to cancel student debt, Biden vowed to continue pushing for student loan relief.

Biden announced the Savings on Valuable Education (SAVE) plan earlier this year, which aims to cancel debts for enrolled borrowers who have been in repayment for at least 10 years and hold $12,000 or less in student loan debt. While expressing his disagreement with the Supreme Court decision on student loan debt cancellation, Biden has reiterated his commitment to finding ways to provide relief to those struggling with student loans. The Supreme Court’s ruling on this issue has not deterred Biden from pursuing alternative solutions to address student debt.

After the verdict in Trump’s trial, Biden took to social media to assert that “no one is above the law” and to criticize Trump for questioning the judicial system. Biden has also used Trump’s remarks to raise funds for his re-election campaign, portraying Trump as a threat to democracy. Despite Trump being the first president to be convicted of a felony, Biden stated that Trump will have the opportunity to appeal the conviction. Biden’s campaign spokesperson emphasized that expressing disagreement with a Supreme Court decision was not the same as undermining the rule of law or the judicial system.

In response to Trump’s claims about the rigged verdict in his trial, Biden emphasized the importance of upholding the integrity of the justice system. He stated that it was dangerous and irresponsible to question the verdict simply because one disagreed with it. Biden has stood firm in his commitment to pushing forward with his agenda, despite setbacks such as the Supreme Court ruling on his student debt relief plan. His continued efforts to address issues such as student debt reflect his determination to find solutions and provide relief to those in need. Biden has also used Trump’s remarks to highlight the importance of respecting the rule of law and supporting the judicial system.
