Bethenny Frankel expressed frustration on her podcast about not receiving acknowledgment from a restaurant in the Hamptons that she believes she made famous. Even though she did not disclose the name of the establishment, Frankel stated that she had played a significant role in making it popular. Despite the restaurant already being successful, she claimed to have brought attention to it and increased its status as a destination.

The reality TV star claimed that she had encouraged people to visit the restaurant for specific items that she found to be expensive, drastically overpriced, and psychotically priced. She stated that despite her efforts to promote the restaurant, she felt unappreciated when she revisited it and received no acknowledgment from the staff. Frankel expressed her desire for even a simple recognition of her impact on the establishment, mentioning that she was only seeking a small gesture such as a smile, a wink, or a comment like “LOL”.

Frankel admitted that she believed she was a significant figure at the restaurant and compared herself to “the Justin Bieber of this place.” She confessed to feeling bothered by the lack of response she received from the locals, attributing it to their disdain for perceived wealthy people. Despite her intentions to support the establishment and celebrate its success, she felt disregarded by the locals and expressed disappointment at the lack of acknowledgment for her efforts.

The former reality star criticized the restaurant for its high prices, citing examples of $30 to $40 for basic foods like guacamole or chicken salad. She expressed her frustration at feeling ripped off and emphasized that she expected better treatment in return for paying such high prices. Frankel also mentioned that the people preparing the food were amused by customers like her who willingly paid the inflated prices for simple dishes.

Although Frankel did not explicitly name the restaurant in question, she has previously complained about a specific establishment called Round Swamp Farm. She has raised similar issues about the high prices and lack of acknowledgment at this particular eatery in the past. Frankel’s frustration stems from her belief that she played a significant role in making the restaurant popular but received no recognition from the staff, especially the locals who she believes have a negative perception of her as a wealthy outsider.
