Autumn Nelon Streetman, the sole surviving member of The Nelons musical group, is mourning the loss of her parents, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, and her sister, Amber Nelon Kistler, who all died in a tragic plane crash. Autumn expressed gratitude for the prayers and support from fans, as she copes with the devastating loss along with her husband, Jamie, and their unborn baby boy.

The fatal crash also claimed the lives of Autumn’s brother-in-law Nathan, their friends Melodi Hodges and the pilot Larry Haynie, and his wife Melissa. The Nelons were en route to perform at the Alaskan Gaither Homecoming Cruise when their private plane crashed north of Gillette, Wyoming. The family had been documenting their journey to the cruise ship and had last posted a video after landing in Nebraska.

While the cause of the crash is still under investigation, the National Transportation Safety Board suggested that an autopilot issue during flight may have been a contributing factor. Autumn, who is expecting her first child, extended her gratitude for the support received from fans in a message shared by the family’s management group. The message also mentioned the Gaithers offering their prayers and support to Autumn and her husband as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

Autumn and Jamie will be returning home to be with family as they begin to process and grieve the loss of their loved ones. The quartet’s latest single, “There’s a Hole In The Heart,” had been released just days before the tragic incident. Despite their upcoming shows scheduled until 2025, the future of The Nelons as a musical group remains uncertain following the devastating loss of three of its members.

As Autumn continues to mourn the loss of her family, she asks for prayers for not only her own family but also for the Kistler family, the Haynie family, and the family of Melodi Hodges. The Nelons and their loved ones have received an outpouring of condolences and prayers from fans and the music community as they come to terms with the tragic accident that claimed the lives of four members of the beloved gospel group. The message concluded with a plea for continued support and prayers for all those affected by this heartbreaking event.
