The World Autism Awareness Day was celebrated by the Special Education Kindergarten in Nevşehir with an event organized in Göreme town. Special students took a tour around Cappadocia in classic cars and ended up at the Paşabağları open-air museum. Nevşehir Deputy Governor Kübra Karaalioğlu joined the students in a love walk and they released balloons into the sky at the end of the event.

Nevşehir Provincial Director of Education Yusuf Yazıcı stated that the purpose of the event was to raise awareness about autism on the World Autism Awareness Day. He emphasized the importance of these children in our lives and highlighted the significance of creating awareness about autism. The event aimed to showcase the importance of individuals with autism in society.

The Director of Nevşehir Special Education Kindergarten, Kenan Tekin, mentioned that as part of the World Autism Awareness Day activities, they organized a cortege with classic cars. They then took a love walk in the valleys of Cappadocia and released balloons into the sky to draw attention to autism awareness. The school currently has 40 students diagnosed with autism, and they organize various activities to socialize and integrate these children into society.

On this special day, the students participated in activities such as releasing balloons in remembrance of individuals with autism and organizing a love walk with classic cars. The event aimed to raise awareness about autism and emphasize the importance of inclusion and acceptance of individuals with autism in society. The school provides various activities and events for its students diagnosed with autism in order to promote their socialization and integration into the community.
