Ariana Grande received a rising star award at the Palm Springs Film Festival and humorously thanked Botox and Juvederm in her acceptance speech, expressing her surprise at being recognized at 31 years old. She joked about expecting to be called a “withering star” at her age. Grande had previously confirmed using Botox and lip fillers but stopped in 2018 feeling it was too much. She also denied getting a nose job, chin implant, or breast augmentation but expressed openness to a facelift.

During a polygraph test led by her “Wicked” co-star Cynthia Erivo in September 2024, Grande again denied various cosmetic procedures, such as a Brazilian Butt Lift, and stated she denied a facelift but was open to considering it. The singer admitted to having received fillers and Botox in the past but confirmed she had stopped years ago. She expressed contentment with her appearance and stated certain procedures like a Brazilian Butt Lift would not work for her. Grande also praised Erivo and the “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu in her acceptance speech.

In addition to Grande, other honorees at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Friday included Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, and Timothée Chalamet. Kidman, accepting the international star award, emotionally dedicated it to her late mother who passed away in September. Grande expressed appreciation for her co-stars and the director of “Wicked” during the event, calling Erivo her “brilliant sister” and Chu their “fearless leader.” The evening celebrated various accomplished individuals in the entertainment industry.
