Following a follow-up conducted by the District Gendarmerie Command teams, it was determined that there was smuggled tobacco in the truck driven by B.A.
At a checkpoint on the Konya-Afyonkarahisar highway, the truck was stopped, and during a search with dogs, 1.9 tons of unmarked shredded tobacco was seized.
The driver was taken into custody but was later released after giving his statement.
