The People’s Mojahedin of Iran (MEK) has revealed information to Fox News Digital about a secret site called the Shahid Soltani Garrison, where Iran allegedly stores and prepares missiles to use against foes, sell to allies, and provide to proxies. Located outside of Eshtehard City, the camp has seen increased activity, with missile parts being transported into the site. The Shahab-3, Qiam, Fateh, and Fath series missiles are among the weapons stored at the site. Iran recently launched a significant attack on Israel using various ballistic missiles, including the Emad and Ghadr systems.

After intercepting Iranian missiles targeting Israel, the US has sent its Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system to Tel Aviv to protect against further strikes. The US has not responded to questions about whether American assets have been targeted by Iranian ballistic missiles or intercepted any in the region. It remains unclear if the missiles targeting Israel were stored at the Shahid Soltani Garrison. The MEK provided satellite imagery showing the scale of the garrison, including above-ground and underground storage sites.

The Al-Ghadir Missile Command, part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force, is responsible for the Shahid Soltani Garrison. Several commanders within the Al-Ghadir Missile Command have been subjected to US sanctions, and it was sanctioned by the US and EU in 2010. Ballistic missiles of Iranian origin have targeted US forces in the past, resulting in injuries and infrastructure damage. Countering Iran’s ballistic missile program will require a multi-faceted approach that includes economic and political pressures, covert or kinetic operations, and maintaining advanced missile defense systems.

Maintaining advanced missile defense systems is crucial to deterring Iranian weapons, hardening US bases, and ensuring there are credible deterrence measures in place. To truly bring about democracy in Iran and peace in the region, Alireza Jafarzadeh of the National Council of Resistance of Iran believes that the downfall of the regime is necessary. Jafarzadeh emphasized the role of the Iranian people and their organized resistance in bringing about change and urged the enforcement of terror designations for key Iranian entities like the IRGC and Ministry of Intelligence and Security. Support for Iranian youth and Resistance Units to confront the IRGC is also seen as crucial by Jafarzadeh.

In conclusion, the disclosure of the Shahid Soltani Garrison highlights Iran’s continued development and use of ballistic missiles against various targets, including Israel and US forces. The presence of such a secret site raises concerns about the potential threat posed by Iran’s missile program. Efforts to counter Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities require a comprehensive strategy that includes diplomatic, economic, and military measures. The importance of maintaining advanced missile defense systems and supporting the Iranian people’s resistance against the oppressive regime are highlighted as key elements in addressing the broader regional challenges posed by Iran’s aggressive actions.
