Meghan Markle has enlisted her inner circle, including former Suits costar Abigail Spencer, to taste-test products from her new business venture, American Riviera Orchard. Spencer shared her approval of the products on Instagram, calling them “a delicious taste of what’s to come” and expressing her love for Meghan. The Instagram post featured Spencer lounging in her backyard holding a basket of lemons and a jar of American Riviera Orchard preserves, with a dog walking up to lick her face.

In March, Meghan announced the launch of American Riviera Orchard by creating an Instagram page for the lifestyle brand. The Duchess of Sussex had previously closed her personal social media profiles after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. Meghan has also filed trademarks for the brand, with plans to sell cutlery, cookbooks, and jarred foods. She has sent samples of American Riviera Orchard products to friends such as fashion designer Tracy Robbins and Delfina Blaquier, who have both raved about the jam on social media.

American Riviera Orchard is not Meghan’s only venture into the culinary world. She and Prince Harry signed a deal with Netflix to produce movies and TV shows, including an upcoming cooking show starring Meghan. The show will focus on cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship, showcasing Meghan’s passion for these activities. The couple is also working on other projects for Netflix, including a documentary about polo and a film adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel, Meet Me at the Lake.

The details of Meghan’s cooking show, including filming and release dates, have not been publicly disclosed yet. Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, revealed during a press event that Meghan and Harry have multiple unscripted projects in development with the streaming platform. The show will be part of the couple’s overall deal with Netflix, which includes a range of content from documentaries to scripted series. Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard brand and the cooking show are both part of her efforts to share her passion for cooking and gardening with a wider audience.
