A tragic accident occurred on the Denizli-Aydın road near Duacılı Mahallesi when a truck driven by Fırat D. crossed the median and collided with a car driven by Mesut Çoban. The truck then overturned and went off the road.
Emergency response teams including health, gendarmerie, police, and fire departments were dispatched to the scene.
The occupants of the car, including driver Çoban, his wife Özlem, and their children Mustafa, Dünya, Eylül, and Elif Ada were all rescued by the firefighters. They were then taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Among the injured, it was reported that Mustafa Çoban was in critical condition and his life was at risk.
The truck driver, Fırat D., was detained by the authorities for questioning regarding the circumstances of the accident.
Due to the accident, the road was closed for a period of time, and traffic was diverted to alternative routes to ensure transportation was not interrupted.
