A fire broke out in a truck traveling on the Yalova – Bursa highway towards Orhangazi, when the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment and pulled over to the side of the road. The flames quickly spread throughout the cabin of the vehicle.
Yalova Municipal Fire Department teams were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames that had also reached the trailer of the truck. The firefighters were able to bring the fire under control and then proceeded with cooling operations.
The cause of the fire in the truck is still under investigation, but initial reports suggest that it may have been a mechanical issue that led to the ignition. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident, and the driver was able to safely evacuate the vehicle before the flames spread further.
