A driver in Istanbul’s Avcılar district hit several vehicles on the side of the road. Some citizens in the area experienced a brief panic while the suspect fled the scene with his vehicle.
Upon receiving the report, a large number of health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Three injured individuals were taken to the hospital by health teams.
Police officers apprehended the fleeing driver in Yenibosna. The incident resulted in damage to 7 cars and 1 motorcycle.
After the damaged vehicles were removed from the road with the help of tow trucks, the traffic congestion in the area returned to normal.
An eyewitness to the incident stated that before the accident, the car behind them honked and demanded the right of way. The eyewitness moved their car to the side and allowed the car to pass. The car was being followed by another vehicle. The front bumper of the car was broken, and they were driving aggressively. The car stopped in front of me, the car behind it also stopped, and then they attacked. They lowered their windows and attacked with the sticks they had in their hands.
