According to the statement made by the Governorate, the Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams conducted a search in a vehicle stopped as part of the fight against historical artifact smuggling.
In the search, 717 coins, 6 rings, 8 figurines, and 2 objects considered historical artifacts were seized from the vehicle.
Two suspects in the vehicle were taken into custody.
