A truck carrying 67 irregular migrants was stopped at a checkpoint on the road to Istanbul by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams.

The teams arrested the driver of the vehicle, who was determined to be involved in human trafficking.

After the completion of the necessary procedures, the irregular migrants were sent to the Provincial Migration Management Directorate.

Following the procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was subsequently arrested by the duty magistrate.
