During the Ramadan holiday in Düzce, police teams have intensified their efforts to enforce speed limits in the face of increased traffic congestion. The Düzce Provincial Security Directorate Traffic Branch teams conducted radar inspections on the Çamköy connection road to ensure compliance with speed limits.

While conducting the inspections, the teams noticed that some drivers were using the opposite direction to warn other drivers of the presence of the radar vehicle. As a result, they also started enforcement on the other lane to ensure all drivers were abiding by the speed limits.

A total of 66 drivers who were found to have been warned via the opposite direction were fined a total of 45,540 TL, with each driver receiving a fine of 690 TL. The police teams are cracking down on traffic violations in order to ensure road safety during the holiday period.
