After eating their meals at school, elementary and high school students from different branches of a private school experienced nausea and vomiting at home. Many students, mostly from the high school, were taken to various hospitals in the city by their parents, with suspicion of food poisoning.

These 40 students were then treated for food poisoning in the hospitals. After receiving medical treatment, the students were discharged from the hospital and it was reported that their health conditions were stable and they were doing well. The incident caused concern among the parents and the school administration, who are working together to identify the cause of the food poisoning.

The school administration released a statement assuring parents that they are taking the necessary steps to investigate the incident and ensure the safety and well-being of the students. The school has also temporarily suspended the catering service provider while investigations are ongoing to prevent any further incidents of food poisoning.

Parents of the affected students are urged to monitor their children’s health closely and report any further symptoms to the school administration. The incident has raised awareness about food safety and the importance of ensuring that proper hygiene and quality control measures are in place in school cafeterias.

As the investigation continues, the school administration is cooperating with health authorities to determine the source of the food poisoning and to take appropriate actions to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of food safety in educational institutions and the need for strict monitoring and adherence to hygiene standards in school food services.
