Kadir and Sebahat K., a couple from Ankara who came to Çayağzı Beach in the district for the Eid al-Adha holiday with their children Yağmur, Cemal, and İbrahim K., went into the sea for a swim. However, the rough sea caused them to struggle, and onlookers noticed their distress and quickly alerted authorities for help.

After a long struggle, the father, mother, and two children were rescued and brought to shore. Unfortunately, the eldest son, 16-year-old İbrahim K., went missing in the waves. Search efforts were immediately launched to locate him and bring him back safely.

Upon receiving the emergency call, the Coast Guard and gendarmerie teams rushed to the scene and initiated search operations for the missing teenager. They employed boats, divers, helicopters, and ground units to cover all possible areas where İbrahim could have drifted.

Meanwhile, the rescued family anxiously watched the ongoing search efforts from the shore, hoping for İbrahim’s safe return. One of the rescuers, Burak Buldu, recounted how they heard the cries for help from the sea and immediately jumped in to assist. While they managed to save four members of the family, one remains missing until a successful rescue is made.

The entire community is rallying together to support the search mission and provide comfort to the grieving family during this challenging time. The relentless search efforts from the authorities and volunteers continue as they remain dedicated to finding İbrahim and reuniting him with his loved ones. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of water safety and caution, especially during holiday seasons when many flock to the beaches for recreation.
