Coast Guard North Aegean Group Command teams detected irregular migrants on a rubber boat sailing off the coast of Ayvacik.
The Coast Guard boat “TCSG-28” was dispatched to the region. The teams captured 24 irregular migrants, including 8 children of Afghan nationality, on the rubber boat.
The migrants were taken ashore and then transported to the Ayvacik Repatriation Center after the necessary procedures were completed.
